week 12

As the semester ends, think back over the last few months. What experience has been most valuable to you?

I think everything because working there has teached me lots of things like how to prepare smoothies and frosty joes and its something thats going to help in future jobs.
What job do you ideally want? What skills will you need to hone in order to get that job? What educational background is required? How does this class help you to train for these things?

I really want to study in the medical field. And I know its not easy and its haard work and lots of school and college but Im willing to do what ever it takes to accomplish my goal.
What is your greatest achievement in school so far this semester?

I just really want to finish all my classes and pass them and do well in them.

week 9

What has been the most difficult part of your job at Jittery Joe's? What would you change if you could?

I think the hardest thing was remembering how to make all the coffe drinks we offered.

week 8

Now that you have legitimate work experience (if you did not already) do you feel differently about the way you spend money? Assume you earned minimum wage for working at Jittery Joe's instead of course credit. How does that change the value of money in your eyes?

Well now that I really have a real job it makes me see things different because I know what my parents meant when they say dont spend money in unesary things because money is easy to get we work for it and now I make sure I only buy what I need and don't spend it on things dont need.

week 7

Have you had a bad customer experience? Without using names or identifying information, explain what happened and how you resolved the situation.

Its just times when they gather up without passes and they talk really loud and they wont leave to get passes sometimes when you tell them they say something back to you.

week 6

Describe how you feel physically while working. What changes or stays the same as you work?

Well I have a positive mood I have to treat the clients good and be friendly and respectful and im always like that with everyone.

week 5

Has there been a time where you made an error either with money or dealing with a customer? Explain what happened and how you corrected it. What will you do differently next time?

No not really well not at jittery joes I did have errors before. But I did learn from my errors. You have to be careful on giving back change and also knowing what you are doing in the register.

week 4

It barely happens to me but but I have just told them I already used my tab or that I don't want to get in trouble. They might feel bad about it but they should know better. A real friends doesn't try to get you to do things that would get you in trouble.

week 3

When the cofee shop is slow we can clean everything make sure everything is in its place and also making sure nothing is expired. also we can stock with all the stuff we need. wash dishes and maybe check the stock room to make sure is cleana nd organized. We can work on our blog or any school work we need to work on.

week 2

Well fisrt of all I always try to be as friendly as I can with customers. I have very nice customers who ask politely for what they want and some aren't that polite about it but its ok. Usually teachers are the nicest customers they always ask very nice for their food.

Week 1

No this is not my first experience in as a job. Ive worked in a grocery store and in a restaurant so im somewhat familiar with the job. In the restaurant I would make coffee and other drinks. I would prepare chips and salsas and other stuff. Working in a coffee shop in different though. Its a new experience I had never done expresso machines or any coffee drinks. But I have enjoyed it so far.
